The first destination is Mesa Gonia village, know as the Ghost Village of the island because it was abandoned after the destruction of the 1956’s earthquake. It is possible to wonder around the village and see the traditional architecture.
Visit the Panagia Episkopi Byzantine Church, a church built in the 11th century that has survived many invasions and earthquakes and is still well preserved nowadays.
Visit Pyrgos village, with its Cycladic architecture, Byzantine churches and the Venetian Castle. Situated in one of the highest points of the island, Pyrgos offers an amazing view of the north-west part of Santorini
Last stop is at Oia village, the most famous place of the world for its remarkable sunset.Oia sunset is an all-time inspiration for artists. The colors when the sun sets into the sea showcase the beauty of the landscape and the architecture, composing a unique atmosphere.
